After about a year of parliamentary procedure, on December 5, the new Organic Law for the Protection of Personal Data and the Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPD-GDD) was approved in Spain. The approval of this rule occurred when nobody expected it, just a few months after the full application throughout Europe, on May 25, of the General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD).
